This installation work is composed of various pieces of images associated from “smoke” and inspired from the 6th story “Akafuji” of the film “Yume” which is directed by Akira Kurosawa, and while it is carrying two faces of the daily life: peace and danger. Smoke can be considered as an object when we look at from a distance.Thus, once we step inside, it separats into tiny pieces, not only we cannot grasp it, but also we miss eyesight and feel uncertain where we are. The smoke and the objects placed at the room makes the atmosphere fantastic at a glance, in contrary, they are suggesting various problems of this society.

富士の山ビエンナーレ2014での展示作品、黒沢明監督の映画『夢』の６話『赤富士』から着想され制作された本作は、煙から連想さ­れるさまざまなイメージの断片から構成されたインスタレーション作品であり、日常的な­平和や安寧やその裏側を感じさせる構成となっている。煙は遠く離れてみると一つの塊と­して捉えられる。しかしひとたびその中に入ってしまうとそれらは周囲に散り散りにある­ばかりでつかみ取る事も出来なければ、視界は失われ自分が何処にいるのかさえ見えなく­なってしまう。時折部屋に立ちこめる煙や配置されたモノ達は、現実離れした夢の世界­のようでありながら、社会が抱えるさまざまな問題について示唆する。
