The site of Hiroshima Art Project 2008 was second floor of a supermarket ”Day-Link”. The idea was came up from Senkan Yamato. It had past over 60 years since the WWⅡ end, the living of citizen looks better than before, but on the other hand, it became a chaotic world suffered from consumption and too much information. The wealth of this consuming society needs too much energy. Human desire cause various strains, and occur hunger and poverty. It may help economic war of aggression to live our everyday life in this society.

広島アートプロジェクト2008の滞在制作、会場となったスーパーにて展示、広島、呉の戦艦ヤマトから着想。戦後60年以上が経過し、一見豊かに見える人々の暮らしは情報と消費の反乱する社会となった。過度に発展した消費社会が求める「豊かさ」は膨大なエネルギーを必要とする。それら人の欲望は世界に様々な歪みを作り、貧困や飢餓を生み出す。現代社会の日常は目に見えぬ経済的な戦争と侵略に加担しているのかもしれない。
